Hi, I'm Lauren.

My interest in holistic living and birth began in 2015, shortly after my husband and I were married. What started with reading ingredient labels in the grocery store led to tossing our Teflon pans, drinking raw milk, and learning about homebirth.

When we found out that we were pregnant with our first child in 2020, I surrounded myself with the team I knew would support me in the birth I had dreamed of - undisturbed, at home, and on my own terms. The birth of our son was deeply transformative in proving to myself the power that I, and all mothers, have deep within.

A couple of years later, I gave birth to our second child. At this time, we were living overseas and chose to give birth in a hospital setting. I took all of the knowledge and experience of my first birth, and used it to advocate for myself and to create the environment I knew I needed (and deserved!) to have for birth.

Both of my births left me in awe of my my body's design and the One who designed it. Through my own journey, I developed a passion to help other mothers see their body's design and capabilities in birth.

I believe that:
-
Birth is a natural and physiological event, not one that needs to be managed or directed.
-
All mothers deserve to feel empowered, supported, and in charge throughout their birth.
-
Holistic birth support should include wholehearted connection, education, and advocacy.
